Couch Tap - Level Editor, Couch Tap Video News, Multiplayer.

Hey there! I’m here to tell you about the upcoming Level Editor (PUBLIC TEST) in the Beta v.4.5 Update, Couch Tap Video Announcements, and Multiplayer!

• Level Editor Here is how it’s going to work:

Record the notes

Since this is still in the works, you wont be able to export/import any levels and it wont be playable. Export/Import button will be greyed out, but you still can play around with it and import some songs and images. To be honest with you, since I’m not that good at coding, I’m having a really hard time making the save data for the notes and Load them and a lot of bugs with the notes not placing correctly so yeah that’s why I keep delay the release, hope you’re understand ^_^

By the way the video you’ve seen above, the final is going to be different. And with the upcoming version of Beta v.4.5, every single UI and animations will be updated and hopefully better.

• Couch Tap Video Annoucements 2021 coming to an end, and we are going to celebrate it with some News! Not just normal news you’ve seen like this, but something like a Nintendo Direct. But unfortunately, with the lack of brave I have, I wont be in front of the camera instead Couch Man will! And here are some news and annoucements I will be talking about:

• Official Playable Character. We’ve had some playable characters but they’re not Couch Tap originals. In the video annoucements, I will be revealing roughly 10 original playable characters with unique partners and couches!
• New Features. Tapping the couch is boring and repetitive, so instead we’re bringing cats! That’s right, in the upcoming Beta v.4.6, you will be able to pet cats, this is just a high score minigame with some twist. If you pet the cat synced with the music you will get bonus score! More will be revealed soon. Also it’s not only cats, we will have dogs too for all the dog person out there.
• Big Update. I’m tired of working alone, I will be getting help from other people. Maybe a team?
• Official Soundtracks This might not be confirmed yet, since i suck at making music but there is hope. Soundtrack will be revealed soon.

• Multiplayer Multiplayer coming soon along with Friends List, Group, Chat, and more! If we hit maybe 500-1000 downloads?? and at least 5 people played it everyday I will be adding this feature!

• Additional Notes Hey guys, thanks for playing Couch Tap, I really appreciated it. It would be really cool if you guys help me out promote/share this game to your friends. I don’t really care if they don’t play it, as long they know what I’m working on and what I’ve been currently doing, but it would mean a lot to me. I just want people to see what I’m working on and what I did in the past 6 months so I would be really happy and 2021 would probably be the best year for me, Thanks.
